2e REP: Sporting activities at the regiment
At the end of the year of 2017, the 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment (2e REP), the only airborne unit of the French Foreign Legion, launched a vidoclip to present its sporting activities taking place at Camp Raffalli, the home base of the regiment in Corsica.
New French combat uniform from 2018
In 2018, the French Army would begin to dress up its soldiers, including legionnaires, with new combat uniforms. This transition corresponds with its “Warrior 2020” project, the first stage of a series of developments aimed at a complete modernization of French troops.
