Young legionnaires, recently arriving at the 1st Foreign Cavalry Regiment (1er REC) after their initial four-month-long basic instruction in Castelnaudary, participated in operational training conducted by their new regiment.
The training took place in October 2017 near the Domaine du Capitaine Danjou, a retirement home for Foreign Legion disabled veterans, located at Puyloubier, close to Aubagne, in the Provence region of southeastern France.
