See a short but new official video presentation of the Foreign Legion Detachment in Mayotte (DLEM), the last permanent post of the French Foreign Legion to remain in Africa.
The unit is based in Mayotte, an archipelago located in the northern Mozambique Channel in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Southeast Africa. A small detachment is deployed also to the outlying Glorieuses.
