On July 14, France celebrated Bastille Day 2015 with a military parade in Paris. The French troops, including the French Foreign Legion, marched down the Champs-Elysées. The Legion was represented by the Foreign Legion Pioneers, accompanied by the Foreign Legion Music Band and the legionnaires from the 3rd Comapny of the 3rd Foreign Infantry Regiment (3e REI). The 3e REI was participating in the parade for the first time since it has been placed in French Guiana.
The day before the parade, July 13, legionnaires visited the garden of the French Sénat, the upper house of the Parliament of France, to conduct a military ceremony there. For the first time, the Mexican soldiers were also presented there. Next day, they were also involved in the parade on the Champs-Elysées.
