VIDEO: 1er REC + 1er REG at Canjuers | French Foreign Legion Information

See a nice French Foreign Legion official video showing legionnaires from the 1st Foreign Cavalry Regiment (1er REC) and 1st Foreign Engineer Regiment (1er REG) during their joint military exercise at Camp of Canjuers.

The men in the images were the second rotation to train at freshly inaugurated OPERA, the modernized Joint Live-Fire Training Center (Centre d’Entraînement au Tir Interarmes, CETIA) of Camp Canjuers, a military camp situated in the Var department of southeastern France. As having informed before, the 1er REC + 1er REG legionnaires were the first elements to inaugurate the OPERA center in early 2019.

Both units were supported by their comrades from the 13th Demi-Brigade of the Foreign Legion (13e DBLE) and Marine Artillerymen from 3e RAMa. Together, their formed a combined task force (SGTIA).
