During the first half of December 2013, legionnaires from the group of Engineer Combat Divers (Plongeurs de combat du génie, PCG), known previously as DINOPS, a part of the 1st Foreign Engineer Regiment (1er REG), have been training on Lake Bourget, in the Savoie region, France.
