Yesterday, the 2nd Foreign Engineer Regiment (2e REG) has published the images of its November’s military ceremony in the town of Apt, southeastern France. During the ceremony, two legionnaires received the decrees of naturalisation (gaining French nationality/citizenship) from the mayor of Apt. The regiment was also presenting itself to the public.
A new T-shirt design promoting the Foreign Legion was launched: Legionnaire: Nothing To Lose – Everything To Gain. Consider supporting our website by purchasing a T-shirt. Thank you!
A legionnaire, Senior-Corporal from the MLE, received standing ovation during the Québec City International Festival of Military Bands (FIMMQ) in Canada, while playing Auld Lang Syne. Really amazing performance… And YES, even this fantastic musician has passed the hard four-months basic training of the Foreign Legion in Castel.
Two hundred legionnaires from the 1st Foreign Regiment (1er RE) of the French Foreign Legion have passed their traditional November’s military exercise called Vaillant (Vailant). The training took place at villages of Correns and Le Val in southeastern France, between 19th and 21st of November 2013.
