Some new images from operations in Mali | French Foreign Legion Information

French troops placed in Mali participate in numerous operations to find out last rebel’s hideouts or to protect already cleared regions. The French Army has released a few new images from such operations.

We can see soldiers from Tactical combined arms task force (Sous-groupement Tactique Interarmes, SGTIA), which is composed mostly of legionnaires from the 1st Foreign Cavalry Regiment (1er REC), 1st Foreign Engineer Regiment (1er REG) and 2nd Foreign Infantry Regiment (2e REI) of the French Foreign Legion.
