Foreign Legion information office: Strasbourg

The French Foreign Legion information office (smaller recruiting center) in Strasbourg is one of the recruiting centers of the Foreign Legion called PILE (Poste d’Information de la Légion Etrangère), where you can be enlisted in.

Usually, the center in Strasbourg should be open all year round, every working days and weekends, for 24 hours a day. That means, you can be enlisted in the Legion in this office every day of the year (including holidays). However, it’s better to go there between Monday and Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (09:00 and 17:00). Once you are allowed to be enlisted in, free accommodation, free food and free clothing are immediately provided to you by the Legion.

The information office/recruiting center of Strasbourg belongs to the preselection center in Paris. In Strasbourg, a new candidate/volunteer will pass his initial interview. Within 7 days, all enlisted candidates are provided with a free train ticket and sent to Paris.
