Foreign Legion information office: Lyon

The French Foreign Legion information office (smaller recruiting center) in Lyon is one of the recruiting centers of the Foreign Legion called PILE (Poste d’Information de la Légion Etrangère), where you can be enlisted in.

Usually, the center should be open all the year, every day, 24/7. That means, you can be enlisted in the Legion in this center every day of the year (including weekends and holidays). Once you are allowed to be enlisted in, free accommodation, free food and free clothing are immediately provided to you by the Legion.

The information office/recruiting center of Lyon belongs to the preselection center in Aubagne. In Lyon, a new candidate/volunteer will pass his initial interview. If there is no problem and he is allowed to enlist in the Legion, he would be accommodated there for free (including free food). In 1-7 days, all enlisted candidates are provided with a free train ticket and sent to Aubagne, to join the main selection process.
