3e REI: Camerone 2016 in French Guiana | French Foreign Legion Information

On April 30, 2016, legionnaires from the Foreign Legion’s 3rd Foreign Infantry Regiment (3e REI), the unit based in French Guiana, commemorated the 153rd Anniversary of the Battle of Camerone.

On the nice images posted bellow, you can see the legionnaires of 3e REI participating for example in one of several regimental challenges prior to Camerone Day or in the parade taking place within the French Guiana Space Center complex on April 30. In the evening of that day, they also conducted the traditonal Miss Kepi Blanc beauty contest.
