Connaissez-vous ces hommes (Do you known these men?) is a song of the French Foreign Legion. It is sung to the tune of the “Afrika Korps Lied” (also known as Panzer rollen in Afrika vor), an official song of the German Africa Corps from 1940. The Afrika Korps was the German expeditionary force in Libya and Tunisia, fighting there during the North African Campaign of World War II. The Foreign Legion adopted and modified the song around 1948.
