The Foreign Legion Museum will organize a temporary exhibition called The Legion during the Victory (La Légion dans la Victoire). The exhibition is dedicated to the legionnaires and Foreign Legion’s units participating in the liberation of France in 1944-1945. It opens to the public on April 15 and continues on view through August 30, 2015.
The Foreign Legion Museum is located in Aubagne, at the headquarters of the 1st Foreign Regiment (1er RE).
The exhibition will be open five days a week, Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free. No booking needed.
