Welcome to FOREIGNLEGION.INFO, an unofficial website created to share information about the famous French Foreign Legion in the English-speaking world.

READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME:

This website is NOT an official website of the French Foreign Legion.

This website is NOT administrated by the French Foreign Legion.

The French Foreign Legion’s official website is here: La Légion étrangère

1) All information needed to join the Foreign Legion:
How to join the French Foreign Legion

2) I am NOT a recruiting officer of the Legion
As stated, this is NOT the official website of the Foreign Legion. So, I am not able to answer your queries on recruitment as properly as the Legion’s recruitment staff will do. Furthermore, I am not in contact with Legion’s recruitment officers in Aubagne. Also, NONE of them will ask me if you are able to be selected. It is their job. Only the Legion’s officers in Aubagne make that decision. Not me. If you want to be sure that you have a chance to be accepted into the Legion, you must go to France to present yourself at one of the Legion’s recruiting centers. There is no other way.

3) I am NOT a medical staff officer of the Legion
Because of that, I am not able to answer your medical issue queries as properly as the Legion’s medical staff will do. Furthermore, I am not in contact with any member of the Legion’s medical staff in Aubagne. Also, NONE of them will ask me if you are able to be selected. It is their job. Only the Legion’s medical staff in Aubagne make a decision if you are fit enough to serve in the Legion. Not me. If you want to be sure you have a chance to be accepted into the Legion, you must go to France to present yourself at one of the Legion’s recruiting centers (see the link at point 2). There is no other way.

4) You MUST go to continental France to join the Foreign Legion
There is no other way. You must travel at your own expense to France and knock on the door of the Legion to get a chance to enlist. No online applications, no letters of invitation, no documents at French embassies around the world are providing to join the Legion.

5) Traveling costs and visa (short stay visa, if needed) is YOUR responsibility.
Neither of mine nor the Legion.

6) If you found this Contact Page, you have certainly read my previous points.
All messages asking me the same questions already answered above will be considered as SPAM.
