On April 4, 2018, the Foreign Legion Music Band (MLE) participated in opening Crunch 2018, an international rugby match between France’s Marine nationale (National Navy) and Great Britain’s Royal Navy. The event was deditacted to the wounded soldiers of both, France and Britain.
The match took place at the stade Mayol of Toulon, France. The French Navy’s female team won 67 – 0, the male team of French sailors won 33-14.
