2e REP: 5th Company Exercise 2017 | French Foreign Legion Information

In late February and early March 2017, the 5th Company (specialized in desert warfare) of the 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment (2e REP) conducted an exercise in Corsica to optimize operational readiness of its legionnaires.

The 5th Company was established in December 2015. It is the youngest combat company of the regiment. The 2e REP is based near Calvi in Corsica. It remains the only airborne unit of the French Foreign Legion.
